SUPPLICIUM : THE TRUE CIRCLE THROUGH THE GLEAM..OF FORGOTTEN EXISTENCE

SUPPLICIUM

A finales de 1991 se formaron muchas bandas, una de

ellas es suplicium. Después de la desintegracion de una

banda de thrash metal y debido a diferencias musicales,

juan (bajo) y arnulfo (guitarra) forman una nueva banda

despues de algun tiempo entran 3 nuevos integrantes

juan j. (bateria) isaias (vocales) y marce mendez (guitarra)

y salen bajo el nombre de INMUTED e inclinados hacia

el death-gore

Tiempo despues optan por cambiar el nombre encaminandose

al death metal tecnico,solo que la influencias aun no estaban bien

definidas aun, debido a que cada uno de los integrantes

tenia diferentes gustos, estos estaban formados por bandas

como Encantation, Grave, Carcass, Inmolation etc.

Hasta ese momeneto ellos tocaron junto a bandas como

hardware,ripping flesh, rlyeh, tenebrarum etc.

Graban su demo debut en el año 92, el cual contiene 4 temas

con un excelente sonido, para ser el primero el contenido es

extremo death metal.

En lo que se refiere a la música y a las letras los temas

cuentan con partes morbidas, doomy-slow , partes extra

rapidas y de velocidad media.

Las letras abarcan temas de miedo horror y gore,

Con el tiempo el grupo cambia su sonido a un death

metal influenciado con tintes doom, buscando un nuevo estilo

y tiempo despues las nuevas letras se encaminan ya a un

sentido positivo y real sobre los sentimientos, temores,

y del alma, los viejos misterios de las formas ocultas.

Ahora es una extinta banda del under mexicano

y este es su demo "the true circle through the gleam..." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SUPPLICIUM

The real SUPPLICIUM was born in early 1991 with the name

OF IMMUTED on the City of Irapuato, Gto. Marce (Guit.)

and Isaias (Growls) used to meet with some friends in the

same local underground music store "Sacred Reich" (since `88 )

a few years later they decided to create a death-metal band

to fill our madness by the underground and soon found the remaining

members for IMMUTED: Juan (Bass), Arnulfo (Guit.) and Buño

(Drums). IMMUTED began to rehearse and compose tracks as:

Rise of Grotesque trip,

Deadly Plague,

The Pleasures of Immuted Zombies,

in the vein of brutal Gore-Death-Doom-Metal.

In April 1992 due to differences the IMMUTED`s name is

changed to SUPPLICIUM and the first four tracks demo is

recorded; So,they are know in the underground Mexican

scene and some parts of the world, lot`s of gigs are unleashed

aside bands like : Ripping Flesh, Mortuary, Tenebrarum,

Hardware, Cenotaph, Anarchus, R `lyeh, The Chasm,

Shub-Niggurath.

In 1994 they recorded the second demo into the haunting, slow, gloomy
and dark Doom-Death-Metal; Unfortunately due to musical differences
and problems the band was split-up

and a month later is reformed by one member dishonoring the name and the path
of the band with people never stuck in the underground total wimp and false.
